It looks like it's impossible to find a decent copy of it (or even a bad one...).  :-[

It seems this was another one Next Video had lined up for a dvd release just before their premature demise.

Is there not an AWE disc of this film - is there some problem with it. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Michael,

No, the 'Baby Love' that AWE released on DVD was the Joe Sarno film from 1974. Here's a still from the Di Silvestro film:

Sorry, what a chump! I never actually looked closely at the AWE disc. Thank's Luca.

At last, a decent copy (from 35mm) has surfaced. Italian original dub. can't wait to watch it :D

There's a night dedicated to Rino Di Silvestro going on this evening at the Cinema Trevi in Rome:

http://www.fondazionecsc.it/events_detail.jsp?IDAREA=16&ID_EVENT=1376&GTEMPLATE=ct_events.jsp

Including a premiere screening of a new documentary on Silvestri:

ore 18.45 Rino Di Silvestro Story - Il cinema. L'arte.

"Before he died he was able finish his artistic testament, a documentary produced in collaboration with Luigi Pastore and Antonio Tentori."

Here's hoping it gets a decent release on DVD in the future.

I've only seen 'Baby Love' and the guy must have been real fruitcake - kudos to the fansubber, I 'attempted' to sub this one a few months back and while there isn't a whole heap of dialogue, but what dialouge there is is completely bonkers! Also a massive thank you to the person who leaked the copy in the first place, good call.
