The Horror Double Bill
« on: 19 Apr 2011 - 15:43 »

Hello all. This Friday the folk at the Bring Classic Horror Back to Television (snappy!) will be hosting 'The Horror Double Bill', and Filmbar will be there to aid and abet (so expect a fucking disaster). We're going to be screening 'Night of the Demon' and 'Vampire Circus' at the Roxy and Screen, London Bridge. Just think of those losers lolling in the sun as you sip your pint in the darkness. Kicking off at 3.

I'd be along for that if I lived nearer, sounds like a great way to spend the afternoon.

I hope it goes well for you  :P

It looks like Jonny and myself should be there at some point, not sure of anyone else who's travelling.

Damn, if I lived nearer I'd definitely pop along - I'd love to see Vampire Circus on a big screen, it's one of my favourite Hammer films. My biggest regret in life (sad, I know) is that I've never seen a Hammer film at the cinema. They had long gone by the time I was old enough to see them and they never seemed to crop up in any late night screenings either.

Hmmm....I sometimes wonder if moving away from London was such a wise decision in hindsight. Still, now I get to stare at sheep and suffer close harmony singing from bearded Welshmen. Could be worse, I s'pose....not sure how, but I'm sure it could.
