« on: 30 May 2011 - 23:28 »

James Coburn plays Professor Robert Elliott, a man who is close to getting promoted to advisor to tThe President of the United States. But he has a shady past and has secrets that wouldn't be in his favour if they got out so he devises the perfect plan to eliminate the four people who could put his position in jeopardy, but it doesn't quite go as planned.

Also starring Lee Grant, Ian Hendry, Harry Andrews, Keenan Wynn, Julian Glover and some other recognisable faces.

Music by Roy Budd.

Slow moving but compelling viewing.

Remember watching this when it was shown on Monday night on BBC 1. Anyone remember the Monday night film slot which used to have a break for the news?
