Got my copy off eBay - same label as from Xploitedcinema, I think (DVD Storm). No English track on this either. I'm wondering whether it was ever given a certificate in the UK - couldn't find anything on the BBFC website.

It's not a film for the easily offended - particularly the final scenes, which, without giving away the plot, are fairly shocking, to say the least! Nero's performance is excellent though - the nature of his character gradually displayed to great effect.

Good to hear that there's a version with an English dub out there Alan, don't suppose you have a copy?

Yeh i have the Prism ex-rental. Give me a shout if you would like a copy. It is a very unusual role for Nero in that he plays an extremely manipulative character. Presumably he agreed to take the role to be able to work with Samperi. The results are one of his best performances.

I've wanted to see this for years!

I shall now be on the search for the U.S. tape ::)

Does it go by the correct title as quite a few prism releases we re-named i believe.

US title is Submission. My favourite Prism release is Beyond Erotica with David Hemmings. About as un-pc as you can get but all the better for it in my eyes.

I've just got the American Prism VHS of the English dubbed version of this and am going to marry the audio to my Japanese DVD from King Records. Before I start does anyone know if there are any issues with the Japanese DVD ie optical fogging of pubes? Is it uncut etc?

Cheers.

Does anyone have the Italian DVD of this? Just curious to know whether it's any better than the Japanese DVD.

Here's some grabs from the Japanese release. If anyone can let me know if the Italian release is better or worse I'd appreciate it.

Italian dvd is listed as being fullscreen so not a better option.

According to Xploited Cinema, the Italian disc is anamorphic widescreen.

That's what I'd read too.

The Japanese disc is also anamorphic widescreen but I'd like to know if the Italian release is any better before starting the fan dub.
