The screen-grabs I've seen from the bd all look terrible. Fleshtones look a waxy yellowish-green and there's been a ton of noise reduction added, which really affected the visible levels of film grain. The screen-grabs Hammer released from the in-progress work being done on The Reptile and Plague of the Zombies wasn't a bad, but the over-zealous application of noise reduction looked to be in evidence again, sadly.

For comparison's sake, check out the Ouatermass and the Pit bd. That look light years better than this current crop of Hammer bds.

My replacements turned up today from studio canal,i cant check them out till afterwork so will report back then.Discs only by the way,which is what i expected

Turns out the post was late! Just got mine. Came in a jiffy bag with the two discs in paper sleeves.

Got mine today too. Crap communication but at least they kept their word.
