Sinister Film, an Italian label, has been releasing a huge number of titles (most of them 50's/60's/70's Sci-Fi or Horror titles), some of them unavailable (as far as I know) anywhere else.

Most of them have an intro by Luigi Cozzi, and a few of them have a few other features as well. Also, when the original audio isn't Italian, both the original language track and the Italian dub are included, which means quite a few of these have an English audio track.
I should mention the covers of their releases are pretty awesome, they usually use the classic poster art.

I ordered one of their titles from Amazon.it, The Green Slime (only available as a DVD-R from Warner Bros. in the US, and as an expensive Japanese release, the later featuring the shorter version of the film), but it still hasn't shipped, so I can't comment on its quality.

Does anyone have any of their releases? Which ones are worth it?
I'm curious about the quality of their output.

I'd be interested to hear about about their quality too. I heard theirs is the best version of The Black Torment and they've also released Diary Of A Madman and The Black Sleep, which I think are only be available as U.S. MGM DVD-R's. Didn't they also release The Shuttered Room too?

I want their release of the mexican horror 'dr crimen/ressurected monster' but have been told its probably not authorised as the film has had no official dvd release,it does however have some seriously cool artwork, will eventually pick it up but would also like some feedback as to the quality

Unlike most German cult releases, right?  :-\

Seriously, lots of Italian and German labels are a bit, shall we say, "relaxed" when it comes to petty things like copyright.  ;D

They still exist. They are releasing Blu-rays now. One of their recent releases is LA DONNA DEL LAGO, which is currently on its way to me courtesy of Amazon.it. I'll be adding English subs to it. Hoping the picture quality is decent, Bazzoni's composition should look good.
