La bravata (Roberto Bianchi Montero, 1977)
« on: 08 Aug 2007 - 16:56 »

Just got the Classica Film Italian DVD of this Montero film which I'd never seen before. Anyone seen it? Does it have any English language versions?

Looks interesting as Ajita Wilson has a fairly decent role in it and Mario Bianchi shows his face a few times as well...

Btw Mario Bianchi is Montero's son.

Ahh, I didn't know that! But it adds up now you mention it.

Have you heard anything about this film Stephen?

Yeah it's about a bunch of joyridding kids who hijack a truck loaded with mafia money and a mob boss sends out a team to recover the cash.Good cast including Silvano Tranquilli,Venantino Venantini,Enrico Maisto and Tommaso Palladino(both from Contraband,Man Called Magnum etc-you'll know em when you you em),the soundtrack is by Nico Fidenco.

Sounds good! I might give it a watch later this evening.

No not yet, I keep forgetting to bring it with me to work. I'll try and give it a look on Saturday night.

Just watched the first half and am really enjoying it.  some bits of comedy thrown in for added fun, along with plenty of familiar faces.   :)

I bought this DVD in a sale, but because of the lack of English options I haven't watched it yet...

hey Magnus, bring it over next week and we can watch it, possibly figure out the plot together. I have a weakness for Ajita Wilson.... (i know, can´t be healthy, but what the hell).
By the way, anyone else seen Roberto Bianchi Montero´s jungleadventure (without that much of either jungle or adventure) SAVANA VIOLENZIA CARNALE, pretty awful that one....
