Alfonso Brescia's Space Operas
« on: 06 May 2012 - 01:19 »

Surprised there aren't any threads about Al Bradly's STAR WARS rip-offs yet.

Just did up the US tape of Al's WAR OF THE ROBOTS / LA GUERRA DEI ROBOT (1978) as part of my VHS Archives project, with more to come.

As always, looking for more scans.  I found a French tape cover at Nanarland, but it's too low quality to be of use.

Added two low-res French sleeves and a low-res Japanese.  Better than nothin', right?

Does anyone know the origin of this tape?

Thanks for the verification -- I've added it to the listing as well.

A new listing added for CAPTIVE PLANET, with plenty of extra scans, clips and other goodies.

Did this ever get a UK release?

Ordered from Amazon copies of Star Odyssey and the Space Odyssey box set with Cosmos: War of the Planets. Thus far the only Brescia space flick I've seen has been La Bestia Nella Spazio, so looking forward to when these arrive (hopefully today)!
