Frankenstein '80 (Mario Mancini, 1972)
« on: 16 Jul 2012 - 03:33 »

I can't believe there's not a thread for this one already!  A new VHS Archives entry, this time for the world's trashiest Frankenstein flick: Mario Mancini's FRANKENSTEIN '80 (1972).  Gordon Mitchell brings his creation to life, who promptly goes on a monster rampage, smashing heads and beating chicks to death with a giant cow bone (a scene lovingly illustrated on the U.S. cover).  The post includes some foreign sleeves (the movie was apparently released three times in France!) and an awesome German trailer I had never seen before tonight!

Did this ever receive a UK release?  Or a Japanese one?

Its a shame when that happens.I used to reluctantly buy bootlegs every once in a while, but soon tired of it as there were often official releases not long after
