I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid and enjoying it.

Olive films are putting out a Blu Ray at the end of October

Very nice and they're also putting out a dvd. 

Btw I also watched it frequently as a kid,still love it (got the French dvd as well).

I kept meaning to put in a good word about this movie. Those of you who like Caper films, this is one of the best. It's pretty wacky and has some nice special effects/sets/locations. But the real draw for me is Silvia Monti has a big part in it (and it's one of the few times she has dark hair). She's really lovely in it. Totally worth checking out.

First time on dvd for the English version.

Is the DVD in English Bruno? The Blu Ray is in French with English subs, no English language track (apart from the odd sentences here and there with Niven). It's 15 minutes longer than the English version. They shot alternate takes in French and English for the different versions.

The transfer on the Olive Blu Ray is stunning btw.

I didn't buy the dvd yet but think it will be the same as the bd then...

Another one to cross of my wishlist (I already own the French double dvd)...thanks for the heads up!

I really was looking forward to the English version though,that's the one I used to watch on tv (luckily I still own the vhs).
