Okay, finally made it to the local post office this morning. 25 signed inserts are now on their way to the UK... at last!
There are 25 official copies - and I had 11 left over (which I figured I may as well get signed, seeing as Ray didn't seem to mind...) One I'll keep for myself - the other 10 will go to my partners in crime over the years, namely people like DarioArgento, Quidtum, LordRetsudo, etc... Only to people behind the fandubs, fansubs that we've all been watching over the years - people who have worked with me and contributed to preserving Italian genre cinema.
This is now out of my hands - but I need a scan of the cover and 1 copy of the final DVDR - can anyone help out when they're all ready? (Jonny?)
Also, as mentioned to Jonny, there will be a second disc that will be download only for the second half of the interview - Of course, if there's someone who really can't download it then I'm sure myself or someone else will send them a DVDR - but that's only for those who really can't download it (slow connection, etc)
When will it be ready? It's taken me 8 months to get part 1 done so let's allow the same for part 2...
To give you an idea of the interview material I've subbed over the last 12 months...
1 hour of Franco Micalizzi - no ads, no clips, just one solid hour of dialogue.
1 hour of Umberto Lenzi
40 minutes of Riccardo Freda
30 minutes of Sergio Martino
The odd Cinekult extra (probably about an hour and a half all added up)
I'm wrapping up a 35 minute interview with the late Gianni Manera (Peruvian Interview)
... and now just under 2 hours of Ray Lovelock.
Not to mention the films...
This is why it's all taken so long to be honest... it was never just 'one' project.
