What's wrong with the old artwork or the poster that was commissioned by Mondo.

Due to a long and lengthy tale of idiocy on Ebay (not my idiocy), I own two posters of the US one-sheet. It was a nightmare....

Looks a bit more like Cropsey from the actual film as well. The Scream Factory one looks like some weird mutant pigman.

Probably the same (sort of) people who force themselves to like the majority of the shitty Arrow covers.

Difference is Shout Factory are a decent outfit, beats me why they are using these foul designs.

I've not seen it either.

What's the verdict on the film? Any good?

It's a belter but this is very much just my opinion and am rather in the minority. Any killers with hoods are good, it's a good standard to stick by.

Anyone who says a film is a 'belter' is in my circle of trust!

I watched this from a cable broadcast last year.  It's pretty decent and I enjoyed the movie, but there's some pretty jarring shifts in tone between the grisly murders and the at times comic antics of the investigators.  It led me to research the interesting facts surrounding the actual case.  That said, I won't be rushing out to buy this on blu-ray or DVD, but then my tastes run mostly to European fare these days.
