Hello all,
I'm in the process of developing a script for a short (15 mins) modern-day giallo film and looking at ways to raise the necessary funds to make it. Crowd-funding seems to have become a popular way of finding money for small-ish scale projects although I'm not totally convinced it's the right way forward for this.
So my multi-part question to you all is: have any of you ever contributed toward a crowd-funding project and if so (or if not!) would you be prepared to chip in to help get the film made? The reason I ask is simply that giallo is not exactly a mainstream genre and if I can't find interest here, I'm unlikely to elsewhere! That said, the film will work in its own right and won't require any love or knowledge of giallo to be enjoyed.
I'd be grateful for thoughts/opinions etc!
