Apparently it was something that was never completed sometime in the 90's.

The imdb list it as being released in the U.S. in 2010.

The fate of a legendary boy, Temudjin, later Genghis Khan, who became the most powerful emperor of Mongolia. With his army conquered one of the largest empires of all time.

The same thing? No Margheriti listed though.

Despite its $55 million budget, the film was left unfinished after the filmmakers were unable to raise enough funds to complete it.

Yeah, they're the same film. A lot of footage was shot in 1992 but the production was indeed left unfinished. Many years later, a company named Madison Motion Pictures put up the money to finish some battle scenes and do post production. They prepared a 2-hour theatrical cut and a 6-hour mini series cut, but I'm not sure if they were ever able to find a distributor. I wouldn't trust the IMDb's claims about a 2010 release date in the US too much. If that was true then you'd think a DVD or something would have popped up. I think it's still unreleased. It'd be great to see it but Madison Motion Pictures' website is now gone, which isn't a good sign...

Nice one.

Looks a bit corny, then again that's probably a good thing. Would be good to see Heston.
