On a random web trawl this evening I ended up at an excellent UK site dedicated to all things Evil Dead.
I was surprised to learn that there's a 'tv version' of Evil Dead 2 shown on Mexican television during the 1990's which contains, at least, 10 minutes of new footage - well, left over footage to replace the violent scenes which were trimmed for broadcast.
It is on Youtube - but there appears to be an entire 10 minute section missing from the upload.
This is one hell of a long shot, but are there any Mexican members here who might have taped it? It's easily identifiable by the amusing "Severely Edited For Television" disclaimer just after the title appears.
