The dvd will apparently only include German and Italian audio (+ German subs). And if the KSM product page is to be believed it's not even an anamorphically enhanced presentation. Unsurprisingly, no BD in sight, either. I had high hopes after reading the news, but what the...

I literally just ordered this before seeing this thread. I'm aware of no English options (doesn't bother me) - but if there's something else wrong with it I'd quite like to know too.

No English options , even though pretty much all of the actors spoke English I believe.

Ok, I was worried for a second that the transfer was shit or something. As long as it's uncut and wide, I'm fine with watching this in Italian - even though it doesn't appear to be the original language.

Luca, you can find some screenshots of the KSM disc in this posting. Even if it's disappointing for a 2013 release, all things considered I guess the transfer is workable until a more competent company steps in and gets it done right. Another minor complaint, which shouldn't bother you however, is the fact that the disc only includes the more recent German TV dub but not the original one from the theatrical run.
When I reread my first posting now I almost feel sorry for raising everyone's hopes. Blu-ray, pffff...

As you say, it's a bit slack for a 2013 release but I'm fine with the quality in those screenshots. I'll be watching in Italian but I'm aware that a lot of German fans are disappointed with the new dub. I'm sure it'll get the release it deserves one day, but for now, I think I'll settle with this.

it's good to have a cleaner release finally out there, i have edited an english version from this release but i will say it was a nightmare to do syncing the sound correctly.

I've (painstakingly) created a fandub of this release. It was quite a task, with a fair bit of editing here and there that needed to be done.

I just want to point out that I'm counting at least 'three' fandubs of Atlantis Inteceptors created in the last month or so... from three different people.
