Just rechecked their store and prices have been upped before the 50% sale! the drive in collection were 12 usd there's 2 days!

Please don't spread misinformation, they didn't change the prices.
They were already applying a small discount (so, like in the current promo, you had a price on the left, the retail price of the item, and a price on the right, the price they were selling it for), and when this sale started, they just changed the discount to a higher one.

Spoke to Joe, who runs VS, for 90 mins this afternoon. He said that the Black Friday sale has been a huge success and they have run out of stock of most titles, but they are not out of print, they just need to be restocked. No underhanded business practices here, Joe is a class act.

Glad the sale is going well for them. They seem like a decent bunch and are very open with what they are releasing. None of this annoying cloak and dagger malarkey that some other companies arse about with.

Some great news from the guys at Vinegar Syndrome. They did major upgrades to their equipment, and will be doing 4k scanning and restorations.

Among their upcoming titles, some are already confirmed to be receiving 4k scans:
