Sorry for bumping this thread, but I was wondering if someone can help me out with something.
There's an exclusive 2 disc Blu-Ray set of this film that's being sold exclusively on ASDA (labelled as the "2-Disc Premium Partridge Edition").

Can someone please pick me a copy, and ship it to me?
I would obviously pay all expenses.

If it's the same one they had in HMV the other disc is a CD of songs that are in the film (a lot of places claim "exclusive" but aren't) and didn't warrant the extra cost in my eyes. I settled for the regular edition (but steelbook).

There are 3 editions: the 1 disc edition (in both regular and steelbook packaging), a 2 disc edition exclusive to ASDA (with a BD + a bonus DVD with a number of exclusive special features, in a regular case), and a 3 disc edition exclusive to HMV (with a BD + a DVD copy of the film (with no exclusive bonus features) + a soundtrack CD, in a digipack packaging).

Really disappointed with this film. Wasted opportunity IMO

I was the opposite in that I expected it to be terrible and ended up loving it.

I'm in that camp. Coogan doesn't have a great track record with film, and Mid Morning Matters was kind of half-baked but I really enjoyed the film.

Still a shit title though.

It had a couple of great moments, but I prefer the very first series he did when he had a show of his own, not counting his segments in The Day Today.

While I enjoyed KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU I really do prefer I'M ALAN PARTRIDGE - It holds up much better to repeat viewings, at least I think it does.

I love the I'm Alan Partridge series, but what takes the cake for me is him and Rebecca Front singing the ABBA mix on "KMKYWAP".

I rate a show on how re-watchable it is by going off what the rest of my family think of it - this is for 'family friendly' shows like this of course - If we're stuck for something on a Sunday afternoon we can always put on I'M ALAN PARTRIDGE or FAWLTY TOWERS and be guaranteed we'll all have a good laugh despite how many time we've all seen it and we've all seen them both a LOT! My kids are 10 and 15 and I'm really chuffed they both piss themselves laughing at both of those shows.

I showed my little sister this show years ago, she loves it now, and my family in general like it too. There are some bits which can be a a bit strong, but we're perfectly capable of laughing it off. Its one of those shows that no matter how old, it still keeps us laughing like bastards.
