I hadn't seen this for many years (Between 20-25 probably). I used to love it, a strong adult version of the King Arthur story with plenty of sex and violence. Upon seeing it again all these years later it seems a hell of a lot different, especially the acting, Nicol Williamson who's usually a very fine actor hams it right up, his accent was always changing and some of the time delivered his lines like he was giving a stage performance, I'm sure it was intentional.

Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed it, but more in a light hearted and cheesy kind of way.

I know it's what's on the disc that counts but it's a shame they didn't use either of these fantastic designs for the Blu Ray packaging.

Apparently he and Helen Mirren hated each others guts on this film.
