Just had a though about this book, hopefully McFarland will go through it for spelling/grammar etc bearing in mind Curti runs Raro - and we all know how dodgy their English translations can be on their liner notes...

You never know. I know it's content and not grammar but they put out the Thomas Weisser Spaghetti Western book and that's a treasure trove of mis-information.

Turns out it's a different Roberto Curti! Had an email from him yesterday explaining a few things... He's signed up here so I'll leave it to him to say hello  :P

...if you want to check the author's knowledge of the English language:
http://www.offscreen.com/index.php/pages/results/d93fae4c199a195dfdd9abefb5511f1b/

I only recently finished his "Italia Odia" (in Italian) and it is a really excellent book.

The Warren Kiefer article is well worth a read, I'm sure someone posted a link to it on the Latarnia forums a long time ago.

Preorder is up on Amazon US, as well. Definitely a first day purchase for me!

How galling - I've been working on something similar!  But can't complain, Roberto's a good writer who knows his stuff and this looks like it'll do the genre justice :P

Hi everybody and thanks for your interest in my work! I am really flattered, and I hope the book will be appreciated. Of course I'm a little bit - well, maybe more than a little bit - nervous, since this was my first English language book. Anyway, you will be the judge :)
