NEWS FROM DARIO ARGENTO'S WEBSITE:
Dear all, my condition isn' t at all as serious as stated on the various newspapers and internet sites: the fall only provoked a few contusions, no bones are broken and with some rest and quiet time i will be fine soon. In the meantime the preparations for my new film "The sandman", are on their way with great enthusiasm!

It is newsworthy, Jonny. As mundane as it may seem in the realms of worldwide news it's far more entertaining that his last four or five films.

Just got a call from Sergio Martino, apparently it's not Lego but the far more vicious Meccano - word on the street is that he's making a full recovery next Dario in the same ward.

Obviously our sympathies go out to their families and loved ones.

Spoke to Cozzi about this yesterday at PR. Apparently Argento's back is healing up, and he's restarting his campaign for Sandman in September.
I thought the film had funding already, but apparently it's still in the 'germination' phase.
