'twas a good night last night, not a bad turnout and those that did make it seemed to dig it!  :'(

Think the next one could possibly be a bit thin on the ground but fingers crossed for All the Colors being a busy one!  :P

Lily Tomlin has a little problem...

When an ordinary woman is exposed to a unique mix of chemicals, she begins to uncontrollably physically shrink.

Life for Pat Kramer is comparatively serene until the night she goes to kiss husband Vance. Her bracelet falls off for no immediately apparent reason. Suddenly her bathrobe is two sizes too large. An unusually low tolerance for the poisons contained in hair sprays, floor waxes, feminine deodorants, junk food, space-age glues and paints, water softeners, vitamin supplements, food preservatives, artificial colourings and flavourings, plastic wrappings, nondairy creamers and air fresheners means Pat must face the awful fact that she is, day by day, growing smaller at a rapid rate.

SEE! Lily Tomlin KIDNAPPED by MAD SCIENTISTS!!

BE AMAZED! At Rick Baker (Oscar winning Makeup FX guru) in the role of Sidney the Gorilla!!

LET YOUR EARS BE DAZZLED! By Suzanne Ciani (2004’s documentary MOOG) - one of the pioneers of electronic music who studied with Max Matthews (the father of computer music) and John Chowning (the father of digital frequency modulation) - who gives one of her first film scores for Director by Joel Schumacher (TIGERLAND, FALLING DOWN) on his first theatrical feature film.

Join us at The Dancehouse on Tuesday 15th April to drink beer, see lovelockandload’s eclectic pre-film trailer show and enjoy our DJs soundtrack collection in the bar before and after the feature. Finders Keepers will have the usual selection of merchandise available on the night, including an exclusive chance to pick up the forthcoming 45 EP release of Bruno Nicolai’s YOUR VICE IS A LOCKED ROOM AND ONLY I HAVE THE KEY (not on general sale until May)

ALL THE COLOURS OF THE DARK - Tuesday 13th May 2014

Hocus Focus would like to welcome you to a screening of Sergio Martino's nightmarish giallo classic All The Colours Of The Dark (Tutti I Colori Del Buio) 1972.

All The Colours Of The Dark brings together Sergio Marino, Edwige Fenech, George Hilton and Bruno Nicolai alongside genre stalwarts Susan Scott and Ivan Rassimov. The film tells the tale of Jane, a victim of a traumatic car crash plagued by wild, vivid and almost real nightmares in which she is plagued by a man with sharp, piercing blue eyes.

Paying tribute to Rosemary's Baby, All The Colours is a psychedelic and beautifully shot giallo in which Fenech is pursued by satanic cults, axe wielding maniacs and vivid flashbacks.

Alongside All the Colours we are proud to be showing Yellow, a modern giallo in which a man is on the hunt for a vicious serial kill in a neon lit Berlin. The film has shown at Frightfest, Fantasticfest and Sitges to name a few, and has gathered acclaim along the way.

Throughout the night music will be provided by Finders Keepers DJ's and a Finders Keepers record stall will be available for your soundtrack purchasing pleasure.

Put on your trench coat and leather gloves and come bask in this giallo-rama night of J&B magnificence.

Tickets available to book online - http://www.thedancehouse.co.uk/whats_on/autumn_winter_2002/event_362.asp

Enjoyed meeting a fellow Lovelock and loader last night. Will definitely see about some Eurocrime for future nights.

Very impressive turn out. The film went down a treat.
