The Reptile (John Gilling, 1966)

Harry Spalding's brother dies in mysterious circumstances and he inherits his cottage in a small village. He moves in but the locals don't seem to want to know him and his wife apart from the local landlord (played by Michael Ripper who I thought was the best one in it), turns out the the doctor's daughter turns into creature that has deadly King Cobra venom.

I quite enjoyed it, the atmosphere was fantastic. Years ago I refused to watch it thinking it looked like a load of shit, glad I've seen it now.

The transfer on the Blu Ray is stunning.
