Dario Argento, si gira!
« on: 22 Feb 2015 - 05:37 »

I recently picked up a book from Amazon.it called Dario Argento, si gira! by Maruo D’Avino and Lorenzo Rumori. It was released in november last year and it’s a really interesting and thorough look at the locations of Argento’s classic films up to and including Opera along with addresses and recent photos. Apparently there’s even comments by Dario himself on specific scenes and how they were filmed as well.

You can have a look at the books website here (where’ you’ll find some example pages)

It’s a really well put-together book and it’s a real shame is not available in English so more people can enjoy it. I’ve emailed the publisher to ask about an English edition but I’ve had no reply so far. I guess they need to hear from more than one possible customer for an English langue version so if anybody else is up for sending the publisher a quick email that’d be great!

Thanks! Hopefully they'll consider an English edition if they hear from enough potential customers
