I wrote a Eurocrime article for Video Watchdog 177!

I've kept this under my hat for months now, but the next issue of Video Watchdog has a massive Poliziotteschi article from yours truly! We're talking heavy duty stuff here, and I'm beyond honored to be featured within the golden pages of Tim Lucas. Quite frankly, it's the best thing I've ever written, and I'm hoping all of you will check it out when the issue hits stands real soon! I look forward to your feedback, and I owe this forum so much when it comes to learning all of the ins and outs of this magnificent genre. (I gave LLL a shout out in the article, as well, by the way  :P )

Brilliant. I don't usually buy VW, but I will this time.
I wish that I was able to write reviews & articles, but it's one of my biggest regrets that I can't write stuff... erm... good  :-\

Donna, John and I are putting the finishing touches on VW 177, which is going to be a special Italian Crime issue consisting of new contributor George Pacheco's overview of the "poliziotteschi" films of the '70s and John Charles' detailed coverage of Raro Video's two Fernando Di Leo box sets and also his review of Mike Malloy's documentary on the subject, EUROCRIME! My own contributions to this issue include an in-depth comparison of the Euro and US versions of Roger Vadim's BLOOD AND ROSES and a lengthy review of Jess Franco's 1974 kinkfest THE HOT NIGHTS OF LINDA. Also SECONDS, THE BIG GUNDOWN, THE HAUNTING, FANTASTIC VOYAGE, Kim Newman on the latest Charlie Chan releases and (I mean it) much more!

I read the news on Facebook earlier this week and wondered if somebody on the board was involved.  Congratulations and I'm looking forward to reading.  My subscription lapsed a while back so I'll have to wait for the electronic version.  Hopefully they'll throw some nice clips in there to enhance it.
