Yeti - il gigante del 20. secolo

Inspired by new forum member pogotheklown's avatar I looked this film up and thought a thread was needed for this utterly amazingly trashy looking film.

There's a great write up at Cool Cinema Trash

What's the best source for seeing this film? Has there been a decent English language release?

I have a letterboxed Greek tape which looks pretty good!

pogotheklown sent me this animated gif of the Yeti's nipple getting hard!

What the fuck's going on there then?  :-*

You beat me to making this thread.   ;D

But yeah, I first saw this gem of a film 2 years ago when I got a DVD-r from a bud over in England and I instantly feel in love with this movie!!  Well that and the lovely Antonella Interlenghi credited as Phoenix Grant in this film.  You might know her from her small role in Fulci's CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD.

I would love to find a better quality disc to this, since the one that I have is fairly shoddy.

Jonny, that nipple erection scene is from when Yeti is walking around carrying Antonella (whom he has falling in love with, but who can blame him) and she places her hand on his chest to stable herself and well, Yeti gets a little excited if you know what I mean?  ::)

It's been awhile since I've seen this last.  I really do need to re-watch this baby...

mmm...Antonella... 8)

Saw this back in the late 80s on Commander USAs Groovy Movies. It's great. Although I much prefer the Shaw Brothers simply wild action-every-second midnight movie classic THE MIGHTY PEKING MAN (1977; which de Laurentiis also tried to have stopped but was unsuccessful) this one has got its moments. Hard to believe the guy who did the SABATA movies did this.

The first SABATA is one of my favorite Spaghetti Westerns, can't believe I never realized they were by the same director... ???
