I did a forum search and couldn't find a specific thread for Alberto Cavallone's 'Maldoror'...

According to recent posts over at the Nocturno forums, the negatives of the shot footage (but not the final edited film...) have been located.

http://forum.nocturno.it/index.php?topic=56.45

Davide Pulici's 5th post down the page...

Re-reading this thread, Stephen Grimes mentions Luigi Russo's 'Paura' from 1972 - this film was never completed, although most of it was shot - you can see a mountain of stills and lengthy write-up here:

A DVDR (from the Spanish VHS) of 'La Locanda della Maladolescenza' has since been uploaded on CG for anyone who's still curious to see it.

re: Maldoror - this is very exciting news. Let's hope that it sees the light of day in some shape or form soon.

Those screenshots of Paura look amazing as well.

There's a decent fansubbed copy of 'Liebes Lager' floating around from way back - unfortunately, the poster art is quite deceptive as it's probably the least exploitative nazi flick from the brief cycle. Let's just say it's no 'Beast in Heat'... more of a lighthearted comedy/war-time drama (at least, that's how I remember it)

Thanks DjangoLi for pointing out to the version I uploaded on cg of "La locanda della maladolescenza"; glad to know that more and more people want to see it.
Also, a copy has surfaced of "Yellow - Le Cugine" (small size, highly compressed, but watchable nonetheless), as well as "Giro giro tondo..." and "Sesso del diavolo".

Has anyone here seen the HC-version of Alberto Cavallone's Blow Job?
Or have some info about it?
I found these pictures at the cinehound forum: [url]http://s96.photobucket.com/user/StephenGrimes/media/image-4.jpg.html/url]

Posted in this thread:[url]http://z9.invisionfree.com/THE_CINEHOUND_FORUM/index.php?showtopic=3242&st=20/url]

I really like the movie and think it would be even better with HC-scenes, the cut's in the sex-scenes are very noticable.

I'd love to see the HC-version.
If someone know anything about it, please post here.

Thanks!

Seems like another rare title has been unearthed:

http://lanuovasardegna.gelocal.it/olbia/cronaca/2014/11/26/news/film-scomparso-scovata-una-copia-in-friuli-1.10384075

The only (known) surviving 35mm print of 'Hanno Ucciso un Altro Bandito' (They've Killed Another Bandit) has popped up in Friuli, Italy - The print is in reasonably poor shape (scratches, joins) but the colours aren't too degraded (although I would imagine it's still very 'pink' and only salvageable in the telecine process)

The only downside is that there are about 5 parties interested in restoring it, including two branches of the national film archive (CSC) and the restoration costs are a whopping 20,000 euros. Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that part out myself...

Still, it's been found which is great news.

The film itself is a crime flick centred on Sicilian bandits but lensed in a style more akin to spaghetti westerns - Beyond, that there's little info about it.
