Noticed this is on iTunes in HD, anyone seen this HD version? Hopefully this means a Blu-ray will be on the way soon??

Not seen it but it was also up on Playstation a while ago. Warner have said they're planning a Hammer box set this year but no idea what titles yet.

This gets slated but I really enjoy it.

Great soundtrack too.

I love them all! Even Satanic Rites. Sure, they're far from traditional Dracula but they're serious fun to watch and they've all got good classic British casts.

Agreed, this one and SATANIC RITES are my most anticipated Hammer Blu-rays.

Sadly with so many crappy PD versions of Satanic around I fear we'll never see a quality blu ray of it, but I damn hope so :)

Were Satanic and AD mooted for blu releases before Hammer / Lionsgate pulled the plug on the blu release camapaign?

AD is still Warner so no Hammer involvement.

Hammer announced a UK Satanic DVD a few years ago but it never happened. If anything, being the first to release a good version on BD might corner a lot of the market. There's been a handful but it's not like we've had tens and hundreds of Night of the Living Dead BD's.
