The B Movie! (Arte TV, 2016)
« on: 08 Sep 2017 - 20:01 »

I just stumbled upon a well-made series of TV featurettes about exploitation filmmaking around the globe. The clips are only 5 to 8 minutes long and won't offer anything new to the seasoned viewer, but they still manage to cram in quite a few interesting comments from obscure people who worked in the field. There's even a former Eurociné maverick on hand who recounts how CANNIBAL TERROR and ZOMBIE LAKE got made! Ideal fodder for passing your lunch break.

The inevitable SAMURAI COP:

I can't believe this sort of mini making-of of CANNIBAL TERROR even exists. Worth adding as an extra to an upcoming ultra hd release?

More Eurociné with ZOMBIE LAKE:

Indeed, one of the strangest experiences in cinema history: TERROR OF TINY TOWN (1938) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0030845/combined

Bruce Lee vs the dyslexics:

Sam Firstenberg, ninjas and the American mould:

Jean-Marie Pallardy looks back on his career (and cars):

Have fun!

I was wondering about this, too. At first I thought I had messed up the embedding, but the videos play fine for me (in Firefox). Glad they also work for you, Mark!
