Craze (Freddie Francis, 1973)
« on: 24 Aug 2007 - 15:12 »

Jack Palance plays Neal Mottram, an antiques dealer in the centre of fashion disaster struck London circa 1970. Neal's business isn't too busy and the only other interest he has to keep him occupied is his coven of witches, who worship an African idol called Chuku in the cellar of the shop...

What's everyone's thoughts on this one?

Is there a DVD of this? Amazon seem to have this muddled with Nello Rossati's SENSUOUS NURSE.

Check it out:

Is there a DVD of this?

There's one due out real soon in Italy, English options too! I'll be buying it! Hopefully the image is good.

A really cracking film this one, especially as Jack Palance is completely insane in this, in fact Palance owns this film and if he wasn't in it it'd be really run of the mill stuff.

Haven't seen it for around 13 years so I'm really looking forward to seeing this again when the Italian DVD comes out.

I have had this for a while now as part of the Slasher Cinema boxset. Why it's amongst some of these titles I have no idea! Anyway, cheap here:

I like the artwork on the Italian DVD so I will put an order in for it. This has one hell of a cast, and goes down as a Trog like failure (I love Trog)

My Italian DVD turned up yesterday from Kult Video. I shall post my thoughts once I've seen the flick.

Excellent! Be really interested to know what the image quality is like as my VHS copy looks rubbish!

Okay, I checked the print - haven't had the chance to watch it - watched P'TANG YANG KIPPERBANG and lost track of the time on here. anyway, the print IS fullscreen but it's nice and crisp and I would recommend it based on what I've seen so far.
