SMILE BEFORE DEATH (anybody else seen this?)
yup, didn´t like it all that much... but the theme song is nice and catchy!

SMILE BEFORE DEATH (anybody else seen this?)

FIFTH CORD (great cinematography)

I liked smile before death also :) I would really like to see a decent restored print of this one.

'Probably' the catchiest giallo-theme tune I can remember...(after Goblin's Deep Red and Tenebre)

If anyone wants them, here are English subtitles for 'The Man with Icy Eyes' (my 1st Italian fansub - it took about 16 hours!)

I found this film incredibly talky...I am guessing it's based on a book- does anyone know?

What do people think of IN THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE with Jean Sorel, Analia Gade, Tony Kendall, and Rosanna Yanni?  I've never seen it so I'm looking for recommendations (and a source).

EYE O/T HURRICANE was released on VHS in Holland and Belgium.

It's quite good.  Good story.

Who Saw Her Diet

Is that about a fat bird :D

That Robbie Coltrane flick--THE POPE MUST DIE--was released in the States as THE POPE MUST DIET, as newspapers refused to advertise something that sound so blasphemous.  :-\

Ooh! My bad that was a typo.  ::)

top 5 for me are...

1-bay of blood
2-slaughter hotel
3-wide eyed in the dark
4-something is creeping in the dark (although not a giallo in the traditional sense, but many classify it as one , so i'll pick it)
5-death carries a cane

Okay...favourite Gailli...well. I have to say that Argento wins my attention every time on this one...so...anyway...here goes...

1: Deep Red
2: Blood and Black Lace
3: 5 Dolls for an August Moon
4: 7 Bloodstained Orchids
5: Strip Nude for Your Killer

Okay, some odd choices there, but they make sense to me.

Honourable mentions to:

The Bloodstained Shadow
Solange
My Dear Killer
Opera
Stendahl Syndrome
The Killer Must Kill Again
The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave
Death Walks at Midnight
Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye
Lizard in a Woman's Skin

I just watched Autopsy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Watched Perfume of the Lady in Black last night which was a great trip, but what was going on in the final frames?!

My list is pretty much the same as when I first posted, but since I'm watching a slew of gialli right now more might be added.

I just bought In the Folds of the Flesh which sounds whacked.
