Great print and the commentary factoids are hilarious, well recommended.

Nice to finally see the Italian version of this one without the abbreviated opening and closing scenes of the US version.  I really like the very un-Goblin-like end title theme (track 20 on the CD soundtrack).

I really like this film and even more so its fantastic soundtrack ever since I've seen the Redemption tape. I remember Trans Europa Express was one of the earliest things I immediately researched when I got internet access at home back in the 90s. Couldn't find anything though - Kraftwerk, I damn you!

@ecc: If you like the softer side of that soundtrack piece you mentioned you should seek out the album Adriano Monteduro e Reale Accademia di Musica. It is similar in tone (albeit with vocals) and Adriano was actually part of Trans Europa Express.

Bump! :-\

I would like to grab this one but don't know which one to choose between the Shameless and the Xrated dvd! What do you think is the better? i heard that the xrated dvd has hardcoded "not for sale outside Austria" when playing the english dub..

The Shameless is probably the best this film will look and is the cheapest. No DVD release of this has looked stunning, the X Rated release being non-anamorphic.

Does the Cat's Victims title sequence unfold over the tango scene or a different background?
