I have anewspaper cutting somewhere with an interview with the director - William L. Rose (thought to be a pseudonymn for an Italian) was actually an American, making this the only giallo to be directed by an American.

As far as I'm aware no other versions of the film have surfaced.

It does feel like the work of an American (a producer - not a director - having perhaps distributed some Euro thrillers and deciding that he could get more production value out of shooting in Europe).  I could imagine this same story being shot in the US but the result would me more Harry Novak-ish with a less appealing cast (and probably grungier sex scenes).

Well from the trailer it certainly looks 'intresting' at least! I hope we get a few more forgotten gialli this year.

I've loved almost every Dick Randall production I've ever seen and this one is no exception - great, sleazy fun. Really looking forward to this release!
