Title: Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible (2003)
Post by: Jonny on 02 Aug 2009 - 12:38
Just been watching the DVD of this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00009V90G/ref=nosim?tag=lovelockandlo-21) and really enjoyed it, much more so than when I first saw it on TV.

"Venomous lobster jism, can paralyze a man in seconds..."

Love the titles for the 6 episodes too, I think 'Voodoo Feet of Death' might be my favourite episode.

And Now The Fearing...
Frenzy Of Tongs
Curse of The Blood of The Lizard of Doom
Lesbian Vampire Lovers of Lust
Voodoo Feet of Death
Scream Satan Scream!

We interviewed the writer, Graham Duff for the Pete Walker box set as he's a big fan of Brit horror - and Sheila Keith, which is why she was cast in this.

Yes, she's in the first episode! I nearly cheered when she came on screen.  ;)

Although when the series was broadcast LESBIAN VAMPIRE LOVERS was the first episode screened. The DVD running order is the makers intended  running order.

Didn't realise that Kev. Is that mentioned in the commentary track or something?

I think it might be mentioned somewhere.

Like yourself, I wasn't too fussed on it when it was shown, but after picking up the DVD I developed a new-found appreciation for it.
