Did anyone see Repo Chick, Alex Cox's quasi-sequal to Repo Man? It screened on the BBC on April 8th – here's a link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01g7zt4 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01g7zt4). Completely passed me by!

I saw it on DVD a while back. Quite a tough film to sit through, but its quite rewarding ultimately. The whole film is shot cheaply with HD cameras and entirely in-studio with green screen. It takes a while to get used to, but it makes some funny points about Paris Hilton-esque celebrity culture, and the visuals match the subject matter quite well. Looks a bit like 'Lazy Town'!
not a patch on the original Repo Man, however, but much better than the Jude Law 'Repo Men'.

UK DVD came out last year courtesy of Scanbox. It's available on DVD and Blu-ray in the US. I bought the UK disc but haven't seen it yet.
