My Blu touched down today and as everyone else has stated here, it really looks incredible. A fitting release for a first rate film.

I was surprised to see that Andrea Occhipinti (New York Ripper, Blade In The Dark) was behind the label. I couldn't see any other titles to get excited about on the website (Luckyred.it) but hopefully, if Investigation.. does well it may encourage them to release more Euro titles?

There's nothing on the Criterion site, so I guess it'll not be out before October.

There'd have to be some seriously great extras for me to double dip.

The only extra that would make me double dip would be a bonus film. The Italian blu looks and sounds incredible.

I wonder if the Criterion release will have the English dub? I'd double dip for that.

At the risk or asking a stupid question - why would you want the English dub? It's an Italian film acted by Italian actors.

I didn't know that! Was she speaking Portuguese during filming or Italian? Anyway, it's set in Italy and (mainly) stars Italians so for me would only be worth watching in Italian.

With most Euro genres I don't mind either a sub or dub. But for pictures that are considered a bit "artier" I do prefer to watch in the original language with subs.

I only watch spaghetti westerns in English if possible as the actors are speaking all kinds of languages on set and they're set in the Old West so Italian always seems inappropriate.

I'm glad I held off from buying the other Blu, this Criterion release looks superb! Hope they don't put one of their naffy post-modern covers with it.

The cover is up on the site and it's typically Criterion but not too bad.

I wasn't going to double dip but I think I will now that I've seen those extras.
