Oli -  if you want Quidtum to finish up the missing lines (I believe there are 3 or 4 lines (out of about 700) missing right near the end) - please go ahead...

I'm finishing up a project for Jonny which is just about complete now, this will be my last project for a while - I don't have the time (or inclination) to sub nowadays - the sun is shining and I'm spending much more time away from my computer. No doubt I'll be back to the subs closer to Autumn/Winter...  ::)

Please proceed with Quidtum if you want to get this project sorted.

Ok man, but not today, also here sun is shining now after some heavy raining days.
I promise I'll be completing and revising them very soon.
I also sent you another link of my fansubs, so that you can manage the whole thing, you know trustworthy people here way better than me!
Your Viaggia has some mistakes, some lines were very hard to hear, anyway I'll always send links to you first, then you decide, great master of fansubs  :-\

Quidtum just sent some English fansubs for La Volpe dalla Coda di Velluto - if anyone wants them (and we've communicated in the past) shoot me a pm - he'd like to keep them away from the bootleggers (the ones out to make a buck).

Re: La Musica Nelle Vene...

Yes, the audio was very bad on the copy that's been circulating - even using decent headphones some lines were quite tough to figure out. - I'll be glad to see your revisions - especially the scene where she visits her husband's work place > the guy she chats to (for about 5 minutes) seemed to speak at a 100mph! I'm curious! (yellow) to see how you subbed it.

Cheers.

i went on a Senatore rampage years ago discovering some of her hottest moments (MALOMBRA) and most thrashed (NON-STOP) and remember grabbing Masseuse as well.  Thought i'd also grab that recent copy from ETC when it was announced some weeks ago to see if it's a nice upgrade.

Please consider this my final word on this matter - I will not reply/discuss/comment/scream! about this anymore:

(copied/pasted from another forum where Quidtum just posted 'revised' subs for AAA Massaggiatrice:

Hi Quidtum - I finally found the time to go through/compare the subs you have revised:

Notes:

The changes you have made seem to be mostly inconsequential (i.e. just moving a line around, starting on the previous line/etc deleting a name where I have added a name, inserting a name where I have left it out (intentionally) - I'm not sure why you have done this (no doubt it IS time consuming but I still question why you have changed something that was perfectly fine in the first place)

You have changed a number of lines and made them grammatically incorrect:

(a random example...)

My subtitles:

2
00:00:30,782 --> 00:00:35,839
Mummy, we agreed.
Now you're going back on your word.

Quidtums 'revision'

2
00:00:30,782 --> 00:00:35,839
Mom, be nice, we agreed and now you're
playing the tragedy of the last moment.

My subtitles:

4
00:00:38,737 --> 00:00:42,571
Why don't you wait for your father?
It only seems right.

Qiuidtums revision:

4
00:00:38,737 --> 00:00:42,571
...why don't you wait for your father to come
back home? It seems to me more correct.

....that's just up to line '4'.

But let's go on...

My subtitles:

15
00:01:14,723 --> 00:01:19,063
While he always does what he wants.
He must face up to the facts.

Quidtum's revision:

15
00:01:14,723 --> 00:01:19,063
...while he always does what he wants.
He only must face up to the facts.

My subtitles:

41
00:04:31,269 --> 00:04:34,647
He still hasn't graduated.
-He seemed like a nice guy.

Quidtum's revision:

41
00:04:31,269 --> 00:04:34,647
He still hasn't graduated.
- He seemed to me just like a nice guy.

etc... etc...

Folks - I'll be posting final subs for AAA Massaggiatrice on my new (super improved!) website later this week:

www.cultfilmsubs.com (still very much 'under construction!)

Quidtum - collaboration means revising something - sending the revisions to the original author and then discussing it > then posting it.

It doesn't mean taking my work, changing whatever you want, then going around posting it as FINAL on forums without contacting me. I realise I am a few days late replying to you but you must understand that I have a life outside of my fansubbing duties (which is, essentially, just a hobby)

"Hey, why does RamonLarraz have such a bee in his bonnet? They're just subtitles!"

I spent many, many hours on these subs - to me this is like taking a painting and scribbling over it, nothing more.

Please - Quidtum - save your energies and work on original projects. Please (and I'm asking politely...) do not tamper with my work, not now - or in the future. You might also want to head over to tehpara**x.com and actually admit that you didn't create the subs for La Pretora - they were in fact around 90% my work. This was pointed out to you at LoveLockandLoad but you (ahem!) 'forgot'.

Yeah, right.

Peace.

Probably the worst giallo I've seen (Well, I'm not an expert but seen some 70 or more). Lots of exploitative nudity which becames frustrating after a while as the plot is boring as hell. First murder happens after 30 minutes and you don't even have to guess who the murderer is as it's so obvious. Well, it's a Fidani film anyway :(

I'm still keen to see this one eventually (and also check out Fidani's much derided westerns).  Funny to hear that ETC Video is selling it, via I'm guessing the same print that is floating around elsewhere.  Craig must be keeping an eye out for new titles.  I ordered a disc from him a month ago and he noted that he'd lost nearly all his stuff (including his house) in Hurricane Ike a couple of years ago.

I have to say I agree with this. Why not just start a fresh project rather than stumble in on someone elses work, treading on their toes whilst you're doing it?

A*****y, thanks a lot for the public brutal dissection disguised into a supposedly polite and nice comment. If you want to believe me, my purpose was to help, not to steal or tamper with your work. I only thought the subs might be posted at CG, that's all, while you were giving the last check on them for the internal custom dvd release, which means you can disregard my 'inconsequential' corrections and use my 'consequential' additions of lines to fill the gaps as you like. I didn't write 'final' anywhere.  Maybe in the future you can only ask for my help for the Italian sentences you don't understand / hear and then I write them down in Italian and you translate them properly, if you like and if I'm willing to do that. For La pretora, as I wrote
