One of the tracks from it is on the ATTORI A MANO ARMATA comp,just listening to it now and it sounds alright-plenty of funky piano,flute and trumpet. :'(

Looks like a must buy for me! I love the film! Its Italian crime directed by Brescia and starring George Eastman- you can't go wrong with that!

Be nice if someone released some of Eduardo Alfieri's music from Brescia's 'Napoli' crime films,always loved the soundtracks to NAPOLI...LA CAMORRA SFIDA LA CITTÁ RISPONDE,IL MAMMASANTISIMA,NEW GODFATHERS etc.

Well, it's a good tune, I agree, but I wonder whether Isaac Hayes has ever been asked for the use of his Shaft tune.

I once collected all kind of Shaft remakes (music-wise), and this is particularly close to the funk classic although it does not even name the original source.

My CD hasn't arrived yet, but I hope this CD is as consistently funky as the title track.

I received my copy today and I am halfway thru listening to it.
Yes, it is consistently funky. It's not a milestone, since it lacks originality, but it's very listenable.
Very recommendable.
