This should be good! I already have the German disc as part of the Brian Edgar Wallace Collection Vol. 3 - together with a nice-looking version of Jess Franco's THE CORPSE PACKS HIS BAGS and a cut, hideous-looking German version of THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE. It looks gorgeous and made me appreciate the film a great deal more than throught watching the sub-par Eurovista disc.

Watched Demented UK's fandub this morning, excellent job mate! Really enjoyed the film, it's not as bad as I was lead to believe. Really well made and looks gorgeous via this print.

This is certainly not a bad film. I at least like it a great deal more than the same director's AUTOPSY. ETRUSCAN is an atmospheric giallo with has a good cast, great Ortolani score, and some effectively grisly kills. And there's lots of great J&B action too!  :P

I watched Demented UK's fandub over Christmas. Maybe I was too busy enjoying the film, but I didn't notice any synch errors. If you haven't already seen it, it's well worth watching.

I have the French SECAM tape titled OVERTIME.  It is cropped to about 1.85:1 and features an entirely different music score than the English version.  I don't know why they did this but most of the cues I've been able to identify are from Lucio Fulci films (the end title theme is from HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY).  Since Fulci's films were made in the eighties, I'm guessing either the film did not have a French release in the seventies or something happened to the French tracks or there was some sort of music rights issue like the American HBO video releases of certain AIP product.
