Any recommendations about where to purchase this Code Red release? Diabolik DVD has already sold out...

Try sellers at amazon.com (see link below).

I bought a copy yesterday from a seller called the exterminator for $15 US and change, shipping included.  I also bought PRIMAL RAGE from the same seller today for $16 US and change.

For those that don't live in the States, many sellers will ship internationally.

Just to make sure I'm reading this right....  the German DVD (part of their Edgar Wallace series) includes an additional 20 seconds during one of the sex scenes?  Has this footage turned up anywhere else, like the Italian tapes?  Or is the German version an exclusive edit akin to their releases of SOLANGE and 7 BLOODSTAINED ORCHIDS?

Does anyone know where I could get hold of a copy of the fan-dubbed German DVD with the English track?

i'd like to hear your advise on amazon USAs marketplace for those living abroad. im in the UK, and the only times ive looked at it, the shipping rates have been extortionate, clearly outweigh the competition on item prices.

I picked up the German Blu-ray of this one, back in January I think it was, and it definitely features the English track as one of the audio options.

I haven't ever seen the film before, so I have no idea if it features the same cut version as the Code Red disc or the fully uncut Italian version. In a review of the Code Red DVD on DVDbeaver the reviewer mentions that roughly 20 seconds of footage is missing from a sex scene between the park guard and his girlfriend. He also mentions that the actress is played by Christina Von Blanc, but that is incorrect because the park guard's girlfriend is played by another actress and there is no nudity in the scene at all before the murder takes place. Christina Von Blanc plays the role of another character and has a sex scene much later in the film, so I'm assuming that it is that scene that is trimmed in the US cut present of the Code Red disc.

I got my copy (German BD) last week.
I still need to give it a go.  ;D
It's been a while since I watched the film.

Speaking of that German BD, I noticed that the label that released it (Pidax) has quite a few genre releases available, and even a few TV series.
Does anyone know of any other English-friendly releases from the label that are worth a look (either stuff unavailable elsewhere, or whose German release is the better one)?

thanks

The cut scene is indeed later in the film between the park guard and Von Blanc.  All of her nudity is preserved in the US cut.  What is missing are a couple nude shots of the guard on top of her intercut with the close-ups of the tomb painting before the shot in the US version of the guard rolling off of her.  Note the abrupt music cut at roughly 75 minutes just after Cord's character emerges from the tomb after his confrontation with Marley.

Does the German BD present that scene fully intact, or is it cut like the US BD?

thanks  :D
