Not sure what Grindhouse's plans are, hopefully a blu ray will be in the works, but the film was an absolute hoot. Nothing short of an exploitation classic, which had (and I kid you not) a kick-ass heavy rock soundtrack composed by Duke Mitchel's son.

If the caps here http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=6653042&postcount=40 are accurate*, doesn't impress me at all. I AM DISAPPOINTED. I now can't believe this would have anything to do with the Sony restoration (unless Sony's regular people were on holidays during the restoration... ). But as I mentioned earlier, Brucker has just barely left Sony, and must have been aware of the restoration so I don't know why they would use any other master.

The grain structure makes me think of an older DVD era master. But I don't know.

* Don't view the caps in Firefox unless you have changed the value of gfx.color_management.mode from 2 to 0. If it is still 2 (which is default) it will show these caps incorrectly.

Why don't you post the next page on blu ray com ? Blu-ray is by far superior than all dvds!

Has anyone here tried playing the trailers on the Explosive Media Blu Ray? I've tried it on three different Blu Ray players and the disc just locks up.

Just got this for £ 21, hope its good at that price.

Well arrived a couple of days ago and well worth the money.  Compared the dvd and the BD and have to admit theres a big difference in image quality.
Watched it in the english dub but would recommend watching it italian with subs as theres an awful lot of switching back and forth from english to italian.
As for the film id never seen it before and it lived up to expectations, its simply one of the greatest westerns ever made. Recommended.
