I had a quick flick through the DVD last night and it looks stunning. There's also a rather nice looking trailer for Blood and Black Lace included.

I can't remember exactly but I'm sure there was a mention of a restoration or work being done on Blood & Black Lace a year or two ago. VCI have mentioned they intend to release it but that was a while ago as well and no word since.

Found it. It was posted on Latarnia by The Real Belfagor

Unsurprisingly, here in Italy we have yet to see a decent dvd of BLOOD AND BLACK LACE. Previously, it was unceremoniously sneaked out by the same label that released inferior versions of Renato Polselli's works. I don't know if that has anything to do with Compass - part of the notoriously difficult Movietime - owning the rights.

However, the company I work for has just been involved in the audio and visual restoration of a stunningly gorgeous new Italian master, so maybe the situation will improve.

Ohh how wonderful would it be to have Blood and Black Lace in a half decent remastered form, I got the last VCI release and have managed to sit through it once due to the terrible transfer and shocking audio. Fingers crossed!
