Marc, I'm sure you're up the walls with Nucleus but will there be a second volume of Shock! Horror! ? Its one my favourite books...I still have feverish memories of when I was kid, waiting for the corner of the videostore to empty out so I could reach up and grab a look at Embassy's Gwendoline...

I get asked about this a lot. The sequel was always going to be based on Sexploitation movies.  Sure, it's something I'd really like to do, but these films just don't have the same interest as horror movies and the nasties, so it would be tricky padding the book out with other interesting stuff.

Any suggestions?

What about 'Shock Trash' - you could fill it with all non-horror exploitation films?

...or instead of specific genres, perhaps the book could be based on the pre-cert.co.uk database...I'm guessing something like this would be a harder sell without the commercial appeal of the Video Nasties® label ?

Anyway, I think everyone here would love to see a second volume so fingers crossed it might happen some day....
