Okay, got some specific needs here. Looking for artwork, that is...

1) for theatrical release (no video sleeves, although pressbooks and trade ads okay)
2) English language
3) at least has some Italian money behind it (i.e., is at least an Italian co-pro, cannot be a strictly French or German production)
4) is a take-off of hit American crime film of the '70s (THE GODFATHER, DIRTY HARRY, THE FRENCH CONNECTION) -- basically something that has "godfather," "connection," or "magnum" in the title.

What I have is:

HAND OF THE GODFATHER / WAY OF THE GODFATHER

SICILIAN CONNECTION

ITALIAN CONNECTION (one-sheet and lobby cards)

BATTLE OF THE GODFATHERS (pressbook)

What I need is:

THE NEW GODFATHERS

LONG ARM OF THE GODFATHER

BLAZING MAGNUM (esp that lobby card of Stuart Whitman pointing his revolver into camera)

MAGNUM COP

LOS ANGELES CONNECTION

...and any suggestions you guys have!

Thanks.

And I should clarify: I'm just hoping somebody has something they can scan/photograph (or already has in digital form). I definitely don't need physical copies of anything!

I have a US / Canadian poster for RICCO that bears a striking resemblance to DIRTY HARRY. Is this the sort of thing you are looking for?

Jonny -- Good call; you know, I've been seeing that HEAVY DUES poster here and there for over a year now, but I never made the connection. You're right, the crouching gun point" was clearly inspired by Mr. Callahan.

I need artwork for a pretty quick sequence currently, but maybe I can use HEAVY DUES elsewhere, when there's time for a side-by-side.

Jonny & Tanzi -- I had to look three times before I noticed that "Blazing Magnum" appeared faintly on that artwork! Good stuff, but again, this is for a quick sequence, so it needs to be instantly recognizable...

So does anybody know if English-language art was ever created for THE NEW GODFATHERS or LONG ARM OF THE GODFATHER? I may just be on a wild-goose chase with those two....

Could you not get away with photoshopping it?

All I can think of is the old UK VHS release, not sure if it ever had a cinema release over here.

Same goes for LONG ARM OF THE GODFATHER - VHS art here

Helpful. The LONG ARM vid sleeve looks as if they pinched art off a one-sheet...

Hey, but seriously, folks ... worth keeping in mind.
