LUI magazine
« on: 09 Feb 2008 - 12:37 »

Just picked up a few special cinema issues of the 70s French top-shelf mag LUI. Anyone seen these mags? Well worth picking up - amazing shoots (Spermula director Charles Matton was a contributing photographer). One of the issues had a big spread with actress Tina Aumont - I have put a DIY censor on it...

Yes, I have a couple of issues which feature ILSA and interviews with Dyanne Thorne.  ;D

I believe Just (Story of O, Gwendoline) Jaeckin did a lot of photography for them too.

Makes sense looking at the mag. Would love to see some of his shoots for LUI. One of the issues I have uses an amazing Sophia Loren lookalike to "pose" in scenes from her films. Sophia would never do what this girl does. They also do the same with Sue Ellen and Pamela lookalikes from Dallas. Genius.

Hi Tanzi. I'll post it this evening when I get the chance. For the record, it shouldn't be a massive surprise what's down there!

Check ebay.fr should be a seller on there that has a copy,it`s issue No 155 ,12/76 it has a Sophia Loren cover, you can find the photo set here :

http://emmanuelle2000.blogspot.com/search/label/Tina%20Aumont

along with lots of other lovely ladies that appeared in LUI,Christina Lindberg/Leonora Fani etc, obviously not safe for work, beware naked ladies:

Also I would recommend http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com [beware though,it has hardcore content as well   ::)].

I just got a nice issue from 1979 with Laura Gemser layout for $2 at a local used mag haunt.
They had several others but no noteworthy layouts in them.

I'd second the vintage erotica forum...an amazing place and resource.
