Wild East has sort of quietly released this one (I say quietly because it seems to be only available from them at the moment). Anyone here seen it? It stars Gordon Mitchell and Mickey Hargitay. Information on this is a bit hard to come by though Tom at the swwb has very good things to say about the film as well as the score - while also mentioning the print is a bit dark. I`m probably going to pick it up at some point, hopefully Xploited will stock it...

Since I posted this thread I`ve received the latest Bizarre Sinema Archives book, Cine Fumetto nerosexy fantastique western saderotik estetica pop italiana 1960-1973, which has a brief review of the film. It`s described as a curious sword and sandal western outing (not surprising, given the stars) with settings like catacombs, crypts, and exteriors featured in several peplums and an overall comics-style atmosphere. Sounds interesting!

Yeah it does.  Never seen the film but I think the title track crops up on one the GDM (was it?) comps.  Liked the sound of it but never bothered track it down.

I've watched this recently but can't remember that much of it (I watch too much spaghetti westerns). It has some potential to be better than average sw but it fails. It's about the plot of the movie but I don't want to spoil it for you...

Worth watching if you're into sw's.

3 Bullets for Ringo

1966

Directed by Emimmo Salvi

Starring Mickey Hargitay, Gordon Mitchell Milla Sannoner and a Spartaco Conversi credited as "Spean Convery!"

Watched this this afternoon and i thought it wasn't bad, definately worth a watch if you like spaghettis.

Hehe Spartaco Conversi had a couple of funny credits.  I think he's also been credited as 'Spanny'.  :-\

What's the Wild East transfer like?

Cheers Tanzi.  Might watch my DVDR of it before I decide to buy this one.

I watched the Koch dvd last night in Italian with English subtitles, the print was nice, i haven't got my wild east one to hand to compare but i'm sure this release is better presented.
