Met up with Lenzi again today ! Next time we meet, we'll probably exchange adoption papers

He had a presentation of his book in an Italian bookshop/bistro in Brussels. Very up-market, right in the heart of the European quarter and catering mainly to the rich Italian eurocrats working in the area.
I was a bit early, and he seemed glad I showed up - felt great. Lenzi was sitting at a table eating cheese and olives, drinking red wine, talking in Italian with some people, I couldn't really follow the conversation so I just sat there - drinking expensive Grappa.
Afterwards about twenty people showed up, and he did a monologue about his book, and talked for about ten minutes about his career - all in Italian so I could only understand the main gist. In English he's often at a loss for words - but in Italian the man still is a manic force of nature - going on and on without stopping for breath - great to watch. He did a mocking impersonation of Carroll Baker in a silly voice about her being confused playing in two movies called 'Paranoia' and got in a frenzy about the mistakes made by the Berlusconi-government - "Bravo Bravo", sounding from the audience.
