Can't say I noticed any of the defects you are talking about? Seems like your copy is speeding up/slowing down. Perhaps a bad conversion of some sort?

I'm off to the post office now to send some discs out... If I'd seen this earlier I could've sent you a copy now as well.


My copy (from the Shendene VHS) does have ALL of the logos/copyright warning at the beginning. - this explains why the subs don't synchronise properly to begin with.

If you don't mind waiting - it will be shared in the usual place quite soon. Alternatively, pm an address and I'll get a copy to you.

If you have a copy of the Italian VHS you can add the subs yourself quite easily...

From what I gather, the subs match the Italian Shendene tape, which is shorter than the French version, which I believe has more nudity.

I just stumbled across this now whilst looking for info on another film (Night of the Devils) - Has anyone seen this h/c version from France?

I doubt that it is the true running time, I found the tape at 7€ (4.5$) so I'll probably buy it to be sure, but American Video has never realeased any hardcore film and someone on a french site said it's around 80 min only. It may be some alternate nude takes though. The problem is that many sites list the running time according to what's on the box wich is rarely correct. Most of the time it says 90 min approx, wich means from 80 to 100 min. Plus as the NTSC and PAL tapes speeds are different it also makes things difficult. I'll keep you informed as soon as I receive the tape.

Just got French version and it doesn't includes hardocore inserts... can't expling myself why they put that... My French contact told me it's totally false, but I want to be prudent and hope people from Kult Video can explain this matter... The version they sent me runs 73 min and they say theirs runs 100?¿¿?¿....

Yep, that's the one Jose, but the guy still hav'nt answer to my question. So if you confrm that it's no use to buy it I will not. Cinema de bizarre is about to add to it's catalogue a beautiful 2 discs DVD edition of 95 min from an Italian print, I don't if it'll have eng subs though.It will be on the site in a few days, something worth a look.

I think we'll never find better then your version, if the french tape was the last hope. So thanks for bringing this one up. It's always hard when a long search come to an end. But there's so many good unseen movie's version outhere to find...and

Thank You JoseADiego, I enjoyed the film very much. I really appreciate those subs! Mi Italian is quite poor but I enjoy hearing the lingo much more than the usual poor dubbing we often get.

Exactly the same runtime as the old Italian 8mm print i was sent recently.

Hi board. Next weekend I'll dig out the Finnish tape under the title FEMALE VAMPIRE (I think), was given to me years ago by tape trader Jan Borgellin along with the Finnish tape of Grau's BLOOD CEREMONY. Both seem pretty hard to find and have no idea/memory of running times. I'l post some pics of them too, along with a photo of this beyond-obscure release of GRAVEYARD OF HORROR I purchased long ago from much beloved, much expensive Video Oyster in NYC (think the label was EE or something and it came in one of those old big box covers and advertised on the back were several other European horrors like NIGHT OF THE BLOOD MONSTER, the cover has to be seen to be believed).
