Strange little film this that includes some shockingly bad song and dance routines with George Eastman jumping around all over the place(check out the opening number :-*),might be tempted to get this new dvd as i haven't seen it since i sold my Interocean pre-cert a good 10 years ago.

Nice picture quality on that tape but annoyingly it's fullscreen and missing loads of picture info from the sides, alot of the other spaghetti western releases from Interocean were widescreen like BALLAD OF DEATH VALLEY(William Berger) and Castellari's GO KILL AND COME BACK! aka Any Gun Can Play.

'This Film Contains Partial Nudity'  :'(

Would that be Karin Schubert by any chance?

I love most of the Spencer/Hill comedies, but there's something about Spaghetti-Western comedies that really make me cringe.

Got to agree with you for the most part. There`s one now and then I sort of like but most of the sw comedies are just not my cuppa. The goofier they are the more I tend to dislike `em.

RE: Spaghetti Western comedies. I got tired of them real fast. I don't mind a little humor but the blatantly "comedic" SWs just aren't my thing.

I've got a print of this, but haven't watched it since the Ty Hardin Spaghetti westerns seem to be dominating my SW viewing lately.

I must agree on the comedy westerns - generally speaking they're fairly poor. The one great exception for me has to be HIS NAME WAS HOLY GHOST - hilarious from start to finish, with a great performance by Garko and some very self-referential gags. Giuliano Carnimeo seemed to know how to strike the perfect balance between comedy and action, SARTANA'S HERE...TRADE YOUR PISTOLS FOR A COFFIN is another good example.

That's true as regards the Sartana/Hallelujah series but i think he overstepped the slapstick/silliness in his later films.Haven't seen MAN CALLED INVINCIBLE but its follow up THE CRAZY BUNCH is unwatchable.

I also enjoy the humour in Duccio Tessario's sw's and a decent release of LONG LIVE YOUR DEATH is well overdue. There's also a couple of Giuliano Gemma starring films that come to mind,AND FOR THE ROOF A SKYFUL OF STARS and BEN AND CHARLE.
