This has been mentioned before in the 'Death Laid An Egg' thread but I thought it best to start a new thread just for this DVD release.



Apparently this isn't a 2 disc documentary. It consists of 7 short films, at least I think that's what cortometraggi translates as?

- Tatatatango
- Mysteryum Noctis
- Repressione in città
- Vacanze con Alice
- Visitors

All are in Italian with English sub titles. Also included is a documentary about the Director.

Has anyone bought this DVD yet? If so, would be interested to hear what the shorts are like. Quite keen to pick it up but need a bit of convincing.

Great!  DJANGO KILL is my favorite Spaghetti Western and DEATH LAID AN EGG is near the top of my Gialli.

I will definately buy this DVD. Questi is truly a great director and I am very curious about the documentary.
Hope someone will release Arcana someday.

I've watched 3 of the 7 short films tonight. Cool stuff so far, weird, experimental, funny, are 3 words that spring to mind at this point. I'm getting the feeling that I can't judge them individually until I've seen them all due to recurring actors, locations and plot points. Seems like you have to watch them in order too, for the same reasons.

I'll report back after I've watched the rest of the films.

Had to add a few grabs from the third film 'Tatatatango' which features two characters in party masks. One of them's a grinning guy, the other's a blonde girl. They both end up in the bathroom making out with the blonde's fake party tits getting fondled. It all ends in murder with tomato sauce blood dripping down the walls...

I love the obviously fake body parts in those images. That really takes it out of reality and makes it far more fun.

Very inventive.

I'm looking forward to reading reviews about this set, as I'm buying PAL dvds again.

I love that Giulio is working again. I hope more Italian directors get the chance, or just do their own thing as it appears Questi has here.
